Everything you want to know about Florence Airport

Florence Airport is the second most important in the region, after Pisa. It is named after the famous Florentine navigator Amerigo Vespucci, originally from Perentola, hence the name "Florence-Perentola Airport". It is located a few kilometers from the Tuscan capital and just 5 km from Santa Maria Novella Station, where there are several parking options that will allow you to take the direct train to the airport without any inconvenience.

Terminal, Services, and Airport Information

Equipped with a terminal, numerous runways, and several gates for departure and arrival, Florence Airport is an international hub, as well as a hub for various airlines like Air Dolomiti and Vueling. It offers its passengers numerous dining and information services, entertainment areas, and a wide selection of parking options to park and fly without worries.

Travel Documents

As an international airport, it is likely that you will need to travel to a foreign destination: European or extra-continental. In this sense, if you have chosen destinations outside the Schengen area, you will need to provide additional travel documents in addition to the normal ID card. Depending on the trip, it will be necessary to show a valid passport, a visa, and/or travel authorization. Remember to always have these documents with you, or you might see your flight depart without you.

A Wide Choice of Parking a Few Steps from the Terminal

The parking lots offered by Onepark at Florence Airport are just a few steps or a few minutes from the departure terminal. Low cost, valet, or hotel parking, you will surely find what suits you. Some have covered spaces, others outdoors, many offer surveillance systems or are guarded. The icing on the cake? 24/7 access for different types of parking.
